Philly Startup Leaders Alumni, Jenzy, Raises 1.25M In Seed Funding
It is with great excitement that we share the news that our 2018 Founded in Philly Alumni, Jenzy, recently secured $1.25M in seed funding! The round was led by Morgan Stanley's Multicultural Innovation Lab with additional support from angel investors across the country.
Carolyn Horner and Eve Ackerley were participants in our 2018 cohort because of their promising idea to make it easier to shop for kid shoes. They also impressed with their eagerness to learn, readiness to apply feedback and strong co-founder dynamic. With their mentors Jason Cox and Jess Mason, and other members of the Philadelphia startup community, these co-founders were determined to solidify a foundation for success!
The news about their fundraising success (one year later!) first appeared in their press release and then immediately highlighted by TechCrunch and Philadelphia Business Journal. You can read more about their growth by clicking on the links below. Congrats, Jenzy!
