Join our *Brand New* Online Community!

First and foremost, thank you all for your continued support of Philly founders, and our organization as a whole. As with many of you, 2020 was a year of learning and iterating for PSL.

Based on the feedback we’ve collected over the past year from all of you, we’re looking to implement some exciting new initiatives to help create a stronger, more connected startup community in Philly.

One of the most common themes was the need for greater visibility, navigation, and collaboration within the ecosystem - from sharing information and finding support, to celebrating milestones and identifying the right relationships and resources for any stage.

To help resolve this, we are bringing the PSL community together in one central platform for the Philly startup ecosystem. With that said, we’re excited to welcome you to join the new online PSL community.

Founders, by joining the new platform, you’ll find it easier to:

  • Meet other startup founders at every stage in their business

  • Explore and network with PSL community members for support & partnerships

  • Book virtual meetings

  • Share your company news

  • Find resources and service providers with our brand new Philly Startup Guide

Service Providers, you'll find that PSL Connect helps you to:

  • Connect with founders who are in the right stage, and need your help

  • Find opportunities for strategic partnerships

  • List your events, pitch competitions, and educational seminars

  • Book one-on-one meetings with founders, efficiently

  • Share articles, resources and expertise

Plus, you’ll get access to a range of new initiatives & resources we’ll be launching soon. As a service provider, your $350 annual donation serves as your Startup Guide listing, and allows you to create individual profiles for company members, and a dedicated Service Provider page.

Bringing our community together under one roof is an important part of our future vision. We’re committed to making Philly the best city to start & grow and we’re excited to be able to expand the support we can offer to you.

Highlights from the platform this week include local job opportunities, early-stage founders seeking mentorship, exclusive event listings, and more. So what are you waiting for? Head over and create your profile today!

You may be asking yourself, “What does this mean for the other online communities?”

  • Our Community Event Calendar will move over to the PSL Connect platform, allowing you to list your own events.

  • The Philly Startup Guide will also be located within the PSL Connect platform, in a dedicated service provider section.

  • Virtual Mentors: You can now create your own profiles and find mentees directly.

    • For more curated mentor/mentee opportunities, please reach out to engage@phillystartupleaders.org

  • PSL Slack: We understand that it takes time to adapt to new technologies and changes within longstanding ecosystems. We are going to leave the PSL Slack up until September 8, 2021, at which time all communications will move to PSL Connect.

  • PSL Talk: We will continue to monitor this group through September 8, 2021, at which time all communications will move to PSL Connect.

  • Founders & CXOs of Philly Tech: We understand that this group is highly active and that each of you spend a great deal of time curating these relationships. We will create an invitation-only group of Founders & CXOs within the new platform this fall.

Regardless of your role in this community, you are a vital part of what makes it so special. We are so excited to see you in the new home for the PSL community!
