Individual Donors: Thank you for your continued support of Philly Startup Leaders!
It’s not easy to start a new business, especially when you feel that your vision is more grand than your current circumstances. Founders all have the same questions:
“I have an idea, now how do I push forward with it?”
“How do I find customers for my new business?”
“How do I build an investor pipeline?”
“How can I expand my network strategically, while remaining focused on my startup?”
Since Philly Startup Leaders began in September of 2007, the focus has been on creating an ecosystem of collaborative, resourceful and helpful individuals in the startup world in Philly. What began as a small meetup is now the nucleus of the Philly Startup ecosystem—a position we do not take lightly. We are proud to be a first resource for those looking for answers to the very questions posed above.
PSL began as an all-volunteer, grassroots organization of dedicated founders and has since evolved into a 501c3 organization with over 12,000 members community-wide. Though we have grown exponentially, we still managed to stay a supportive, tight-knit group who share a similar vision of moving Philadelphia forward.
As many of you know, PSL has been a sponsor-supported organization for much of its existence. We are blessed to have had so many corporations and organizations over the years who have supported us with capital of all kinds, including our current annual sponsors Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Comcast LIFTLabs, the City of Philadelphia and goPuff.
What many of you may not know, is that the individuals behind PSL are the reason that we continue to exist, and evolve, today. In fact, many of our longest-term supporters do so on a recurring, monthly basis, without the added perks of a contracted sponsorship agreement. We are so grateful for each and every one of you--whether you are a virtual mentor who signed up to support startups during the most uncertain of times; a speaker who lent your time and talents to one of our programs, sessions or events; an individual who feels compelled to donate due to PSL’s mission, or an alumni who wants to pay it forward to new founders.
A huge THANK YOU to our individual donors. PSL would not be possible without you, and we are so grateful for your continued support.
