Essie Riddle is a classically trained singer, song-writer, band leader, and professional voice coach. She moved from West Virginia to New Jersey in 2015 to study the operatic repertoire. While in New Jersey she started writing and singing under the persona Essie Riddle. Essie Riddle is known for her powerhouse vocals and bluesy rock and roll flair. In addition to her own band she performs as an in demand vocalist with several groups such as Remember Jones (Asbury, NJ), Jah People (Philly, PA), and Looseleaf (Philly, PA). She has performed at a range of incredible venues from Carnegie Hall to John & Peter’s, including a sold out show at World Cafe Live, Come Together, a tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Abbey Road.
