With only 55 percent of Philadelphia public school students going on to college from high school, we must find other ways to ensure young people have the skills needed to thrive in the modern economy. Entrepreneurship can act as a springboard for many of our city's residents — employing, educating, and preparing our citizens for high-quality and high-wage 21st-century jobs.
