We are pumped (pun VERY much intended) to have a candid conversation with Adriana C. Vázquez, CEO & Co-founder of Lilu.
Lilu was founded by two Penn engineers who recognized that new moms have been vastly ignored by technology, especially when it comes to breast pumping. Breast pumps aren’t as efficient as a baby nursing, so 2/3 of moms rely on breast massage while pumping to produce enough milk to feed their babies. In fact, research from Stanford shows that performing massage while breastfeeding can result in 50% more milk per session. But massage makes pumping even more exhausting and time-consuming. So they decided to build a product that makes breast pumping more efficient to help more moms reach their breastfeeding goals.
We can’t wait to speak to Adriana and learn more about Lilu and how technology can better support women, especially new moms facing limited maternity leave options. Join us!
