B Smart is a program created in 2017 to address the lack of legitimate and free business training programs for early stage companies. The program was created in partnership with the West Philadelphia Corridor Collaborative, Drexel University's Beachell Family Learning Center and the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution (WPFSI). To date, the program has served over 100 entrepreneurs. At the end of each cohort, businesses have the chance to pitch their business plans for feedback and on-the-spot financing from WPFSI, Entrepreneur Works and/or Citizen’s Bank to launch or grow their business.
