Dr. Dan Young PHD, CFP, MBA | Goldey-Beacom College
Dr. Dan Young is the Founding Director of the Doctor of Business Administration Program, which he created in 2018. He is also the Organizer of TEDxWilmington, which is one of the most successful TEDx platforms in the country with over 470 talks and 36 million views on YouTube. He is also the Director of Startup Grind Wilmington and serves as a central figure in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Mid-Atlantic region. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Administration from the University of Delaware Honors Program and has a PhD in Social and Behavioral Marketing from Temple University. He has also founded a number of startups, including Maverick Class and National Tailgating Experience.
amrish macedo | Robin Hood Ventures
Amrish Macedo is an entrepreneur and former turn around executive. Equipped with computer science and business degrees, Amrish started his career with software companies, selling predictive modeling solutions to enterprise clients. He has managed up to 250 people, run IT delivery as well as operations delivery in organizations. He has experience in health, pharmaceuticals, finance and energy. His recent areas of interest have included IoT and machine learning and his primary focus is on helping companies find product – market fit.

Ellen is passionate about innovation and about helping build great companies in Philadelphia. She is the Executive Director of Robin Hood Ventures (www.robinhoodventures.com), a leading angel group helping to fuel startup growth in the Philadelphia region. She also serves as the Executive Director of Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures, a venture forum for early stage companies. She is very active in the Philadelphia startup community, supporting Philly Startup Leaders, Female Funders and Founders, and the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs.
andrew goldner | GrowthX
Andrew is a Founding Partner and CEO of GrowthX. He has been in the technology sector since 1998, based in New York City, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Palo Alto. After 6 years in Asia, Andrew returned to the U.S. and returned to helping early-stage companies and co-founded GrowthX. Andrew is a Kauffman Fellow, Regional Board Member of Venture for America, and a Mentor at Endeavor, Alchemist Accelerator and Galvanize. Andrew teaches Venture Capital at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Andrew received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and his law degree from Georgetown University.
jennifer hartt | Ben Franklin Tech Partners
Jennifer Hartt, MS is the Director of Investments for Health & Digital Health at Ben Franklin. Hartt directs all of Ben Franklin’s life sciences related investments in companies with technologies ranging from clinical healthcare IT, medical devices and diagnostics to therapeutics. Hartt has closed over 140 investments totaling some $35M in over 70 companies for Ben Franklin since early 2006. Hartt is highly experienced in both convertible notes and equity investment instruments. In addition, she has negotiated dozens of exits and conversions of debt to equity.
